For many patients, a dental visit can be accompanied by anxiety, fear or discomfort. That is why our practice offers the option of including animal-assisted activities as part of the care pathway.
Working with a qualified professional and certified dogs, the animal can provide valuable emotional support, helping patients approach appointments and treatment more calmly. This approach is particularly suitable for children, anxious or phobic patients, and people with special needs, neurodevelopmental conditions or traumatic experiences related to dental care.
The activity is available by appointment only, on dedicated days and in designated areas, in compliance with strict hygiene and behavioural protocols. Caring for patients also means acknowledging their emotions, not only treating their teeth.
